A Kingsville man is facing a drunk driving charge following a crash over the weekend.
On Saturday, November 3 at 2:15pm, the OPP in Leamington were called to Westmoreland Ave. where a van crossed the road, across a lawn and hit a parked vehicle.
Police say the 19-year-old driver showed signs of impairment.
He is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle by alcohol and refusing to provide a breath sample.
In a separate incident, the OPP in Leamington received a complaint about an erratic driver on Saturday, November 3 at 6:25pm.
Police were told a vehicle was swerving, speeds were going up and down and slamming the brakes on Talbot Street West.
The driver was issued a roadside screening test and failed.
A 54-year old Lakeshore woman is charged with exceeding 80 milligrams of blood-alcohol content.
Kingsville OPP are also investigating a third impaired driving crash on Halloween.
Police were called to County Road 20 last Wednesday after a vehicle was hit from behind at a red light in a construction zone, the suspect vehicle passed on the left, side swiping the car then fled the scene.
Police say the suspect was spotted minutes later on Heritage Road with extensive damage to the front end of the vehicle, the driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested.
A 31-year old Windsor woman is charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Fail to Stop at Scene of Collision, and Refuse to Provide Breath Sample.
