Residents in Kingsville have a chance to talk about the growing opioid threat and adolescents.
A free community forum is taking place tonight from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Kingsville Community Centre on Division Rd .
Community organizations have come together to try and shed some light on the issue of opioid abuse among adolescents in Windsor and Essex County.
The purpose of the event is to increase awareness and share information.
Parents, grandparents, guardians, caregivers, coaches and teachers are invited to attend the event which is free.
The Windsor-Essex Community Health Centre found Windsor-Essex is the 7th highest substance abuse county in Ontario with teens getting a hold of opioids in their own homes.
The event called "Opioids and Adolescents" is organized by the South Shore Health Centre.
