Major roads in Windsor will close for pedestrian fun
It's Open Streets Day in Windsor.
Eight kilometers of roadways will be closed to traffic from 9am until 4pm. The event itself runs from 10am-3pm.
Parts of Sandwich Street, University Avenue, Wyandotte St and Drouillard Road will be shutdown but there are 11 intersections where vehicles can cross including at Huron Church, McDougall and Walker Road.
There is a wide ranging list of activities in community hubs for residents to take part in including Zumba, a farmers market, food trucks and obstacle courses.
