Planning is underway for the 2017 edition of Open Streets.
Project Manager Michael Chantler says several of the neighbourhood hubs have grown and hours for the event have been extended.
Last year, two Open Streets were held with thousands attending the eight kilometre route from Olde Sandwich Town to Ford City.
Chantler says it's a great opportunity for residents to check out new neighbourhoods.
"Estimates were around 10,000 people were out for the last event last September and those are people that may otherwise not have experienced some of these neighbourhoods that we go through on this route," says Chantler. "We're not just going to draw from Windsor. We'll be drawing from our neighbouring communities. We know that because we saw people out last year and they told us that and they wanted to come out and see what it was all about."
This year's Open Streets goes September 17 from 10am to 5pm.
