A new poll released by Mainstreet Research shows a shift in political lines heading into the upcoming Provincial Election.
The Andrea Horwath led NDP saw a jump in the polls and now sit in second place behind the Progressive Conservatives with 28.4% share, up 7.1%.
According to the poll 2,534 Ontarians sampled equally in separate regions responded on May 11 — indicating the PCs still lead with 42.3% of decided and leaning voters, that's down 2.6% from a previous poll.
The Liberals slid to third with 22.1% after a 6.1% drop in support, while the Ontario Green Party saw modest gains to 5.4%, a 1.4% increase.
The provincial election is on June 7th.
