Using the Windsor Regional Chamber of Commerce as the backdrop, the Ontario chamber has launched its report titled "Small Business, Too Big to Ignore."
Ontario Chamber President Allan O'Dette spoke in Windsor today, accompanied by Essex MP Tracey Ramsey, Windsor chamber president Matt Marchand and incoming Ontario chamber chair Jennifer Sloan.
The report has four recommendations that include reducing the cost of energy and outlining various challenges small business faces when it comes to government red tape.
O'Dette admits this is the roadmap to drive provincial government policy. "All three political leaders have been briefed on this, they recognize what the issues are and the recommendations that have been raised. We will now spend the next 18 to 24 months leading to the next provincial election driving home the recommendations in the report," says O'Dette.
O'dette adds that he'll huddle behind closed doors with all three of the provincial party leaders next month.
