The Ministry of Labour has been called in after a transport truck struck a building in Tecumseh.
It happened around 10:40 Thursday morning at Underground Specialties on Walker Rd in Oldcastle.
A transport truck unloading sand lost its load and tipped over, hitting the building and a pick-up truck that was parked nearby.
"The truck driver was unloading some sand and for whatever reason, we're not sure if the load shifted or something, the load became unstable and the truck tipped to the side landing on the building adjacent to it," says Tecumseh Fire Chief Wade Bondy.
The building was evacuated and one person has been sent to hospital.
Chief Bondy says one person has been sent to hospital.
"The pick-up truck was vacant at the time, nobody was in it," says Bondy. "There was somebody in the building, he was transported to Ouellette campus, we're not quite sure the extent of his injuries."
The OPP was also called to the scene.
