The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a fatal house fire in Chatham-Kent.
The fire happened Tuesday at around 9:25 p.m. at a multi-unit dwelling at 24 George Street.
Several crews from the Chatham-Kent Fire Department were called to the scene.
Chatham-Kent EMS transported four people to the hospital while one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name has not been released.
A damage estimate has yet to be determined.
