The President and CEO of FCA spent time inspiring students at the Odette School of Business.
Sergio Marchionne was the keynote speaker at the start of the Georgie Odette Leadership Symposium.
He spoke fondly about his time as a student at the University of Windsor, saying he has an affection for the university.
Marchionne got a laugh from the audience when he spoke about his trademark black sweater.
He told them he buys his clothes online, and you can tell.
Marchionne advised the students to ignore barriers and not to set limits on themselves in business, but: "you've got to keep your heart clean. This is an important issue because if you're misled by unrestrained ambition, or by falling in love with the trappings you will screw this up"
Marchionne says he remembers clearly the time when Chrysler came out of bankrutcy and that he needed to inspire 27,000 people to follow his lead.
He says as a leader you take bullets for your team and never throw anyone under the bus.
