Ontario Provincial Police responded to a call for a vehicle that had left the roadway around 930am Sunday
One person is dead after crashing their vehicle into Lakeshore's Big Creek Sunday.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to a call for a vehicle that had left the roadway on County Rd. 42 between Gracey Sideroad and Highway 401 just before 9:30am.
Emergency crews arrived to find the vehicle had collided with a hydro pole and become submerged in Big Creek. Police says the driver, and lone occupant, was pulled from the vehicle and taken to hospital, but later succumbed to their injuries.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigation team was called in to investigate the cause of the crash.
Anyone with information is asked to call OPP or Crime Stoppers.
