The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit states that Holiday Beach in Amherstburg is closed this week due to high levels of E.coli. Beach closure signs are posted.
WECHU says the high levels of bacteria may pose a risk to health.
Swimming is not recommended at Cedar Beach or Colchester Beach as well.
