Windsor police have released photos of two suspects wanted in connection with the Halloween night shooting off Ouellette Ave. near Hanna St.
The Major Crimes Branch has arrested and charged one suspect, 19-year-old Julia Sweeney.
Sergeant Steve Betteridge tells AM800 News they've been able to make significant progress in the case. and they have issued a warrant for the arrest of one suspect who's been identified.
"For the serious charges of attempt murder, robbery with a weapon and five counts of breaching recognizance conditions. This gentleman has been identified as Guled Ismail. He's a 25-year-old male and he is believed to reside in and around the Toronto area"

Betteridge says they also have photos of a third suspect, but they have not been able to identify him.

"He is described as a male black, approximately 20 to 25-years old, dark hair in cornrow style and pulled back. He's approximately 5' 10" in height with a medium build and he has a distinctive scar below and above the left eye"

At about 9:45 p.m.on October 31, a man was shot and wounded, later being released from hospital.
Betteridge reminds people these suspects are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached if seen.
