Windsor Police have arrested one person and have issued warrants for 3 others from a violent assault in west Windsor.
A week ago officers were called to an apartment on Mill Street where a 26-year-old man had been beaten, stabbed and tied up.
They spoke to a 67-year-old man who was a witness, but turned out to have had a role in the crime.

Officers from the Major Crimes branch eventually determined 3 other people were involved.
They believe the victim was lured to a parking lot behind the Tim Horton's in the 2800 block of Howard Avenue between 8 and 9 PM on the Tuesday evening.
Two men and a woman forced the victim into a vehicle where some of the attack happened and took him to the Mill Street apartment.
He remains in hospital in critical condition recovering from multiple stab wounds and cuts to the body.
67-year-old Walter Smith of Windsor is charged with forcible confinement and aggravated assault.
26-year-old Dustin Schuh is wanted for Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement and Aggravated Assault for this incident.
He's also being sought for Use of an imitation firearm in the commission of an indictable offence and Forcible Confinement from a separate incident learned of during the investigation.
38-year-old Daniel Shaw and 26-year-old Melissa Luyten - both of Windsor - are wanted for Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement, and Aggravated Assault.
Police believe the 26-year-old victim had previously been targeted in a stabbing in late September where he was found with wounds near Glengarry and Wyandotte, but did not cooperate with police.
