Some excavation work in west Windsor has unearthed skeletal remains.
Police were called to the 28-hundred block of Riverside Drive just after 2pm Friday.
Photos of the bones were taken and sent off to an anthropological coroner in Toronto who determined that they are of historical nature.
According to police, the Ministry of Consumer Services will be called to coordinate the removal and relocation of the bones.
A police investigation is not required.
