Detroit Red Wing forward Gustav Nyquist is going to sit out six games for a high stick on Sunday against the Minnesota Wild.
The league handed down the suspension today.
Nyquist's high stick on the Wild's Nick Spurgeon happened in a 6-3 loss for the Red Wings.
