A list of charges have been laid following an investigation into a stolen vehicle in Windsor.
On Monday October 15, officers were called about a break and enter at a residence on Smeeton Dr, off Wyandotte St E.
The complainant advised that a pickup truck had also been stolen.
The next day, police spotted the stolen vehicle in a parking lot on Tecumseh Road East and tried to block it in but the driver drove into an unmarked cruiser, over landscaping and bushes and fled the scene.
Officers were able to identify the driver and the stolen pick-up was seen Tuesday afternoon on Langlois and the driver ran into a home while two women left the residence and drove away in the truck.
Police contained the home and the suspect exited three-hours later and was arrested without incident.
Another team of officers found the stolen vehicle on Goyeau Street.
Matthew Maskery, a 33 year old man from Windsor, is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and disqualified operation of a motor vehicle.
30-year old Amanda Labute from Windsor is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000.
