Four people face charges after a Windsor man was robbed and assaulted.
The victim told police he met a female on the internet and they went to a residence in the west-end Tuesday night.
Police say he was confronted by two men and two women, who forced him into his vehicle and had him drive to multiple bank machines in Windsor and withdraw money.
The victim was eventually released unharmed.
Police say the suspects were arrested at a motel on Howard Ave. north of Grand Marais Rd. E the following day during an unrelated investigation into the theft of car keys.
The men and women range in age from 21 to 36 and are charged with numerous offences, including robbery, kidnapping, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
