No problems have been reported to the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board on the first day of a court injunction.
Justice Kirk Munroe granted the injunctive relief on Thursday to restrain pickets from blocking teachers from getting to school.
370 support staff at the board have been on strike since October 17th.
The judge imposed orders that pickets can only delay teacher vehicles by one minute from 7:30 a.m until 20 minutes before class.
Before 7:30am, vehicles can be delayed for a maximum of five minutes.
After class, teachers can be delayed 3 minutes upon exiting.
Board Spokesperson Stephen Fields says the board is monitoring the situation but there didn't appear to be any problems or delays this morning.
A caller on AM800's 'The Lynn Martin Show' has three children in the catholic system and feels the injunction will hurt the striking support workers.
"I feel like their right to strike and their right to inform was their only leverage by holding up the teachers getting into the classroom," she says.
Some striking workers this morning demonstrated their displeasure with the court injunction by placing pylons on their heads and tweeting about it.
The union, Unifor local 2458, says it will abide by the order.
