Windsor police have wrapped up the investigation into a complaint of two local cab drivers delivering alcohol without proper licences and no charges will be laid.
As AM800 news reported in March, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario received a complaint from someone saying a family member was receiving alcohol deliveries from cab drivers.
Chad Stratford called the AGCO alleging his sick sister was getting the alcohol after she texted the cab drivers with the alcohol request.
The AGCO confirmed it had not issued a "liquor deliver service" licence to the drivers identified.
Police also looked into the allegations but concluded no charges were warranted.
