Just ahead of picks being made in the 2019 NHL Draft, the league has released its home opener schedule for the 2019-2020 season.
Four Canadian teams will be in action on the first night of the on Oct. 2nd, with Toronto hosting Ottawa and Edmonton hosting Vancouver.
Also on the first night of the season, the defending Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues will be home to the Washington Capitals and the Vegas Golden Knights host the San Jose Sharks in a rematch of a first-round playoff series.
Detroit opens the season at Little Caesars Arena on October 6th with Dallas in town and the Red Wings travel to Montreal for the Canadiens home opener on October 10th.
