The NHL and the NHL Players Association have announced Nashville Predators forward Austin Watson has been reinstated to available status.
The former Windsor Spitfire entered Stage 2 of the Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health Program in January,
Watson is now in the follow-up care phase of the program.
The Michigan native was suspended by the league in September after pleading no contest to a domestic assault charge over the summer.
Watson's original 27-game ban was reduced to 18 in October.
He played 34 games for the Predators between November 15 and January 23 and was then suspended again under terms of the program.
