The doors are now open at the Lowe's Store in east Windsor.
A grand opening celebration was held at the Catherine St. location on Thursday.
It's the second Lowe's in Windsor and the 41st in Ontario.
Store Manager Lino Tesolin says it's an exciting time for the east end.
"There's been an excitement in the community to get us open," says Tesolin. "People have been coming to the door for 16 weeks. Pulling back the plastic looking. There's an excitement level and energy that we're going to ensure we become apart of that in the community and embrace that so it's fantastic."

He adds the east end store is more than 117,000 square feet.
"This box, as we call it a box, offers 14 businesses under one roof," says Tesolin. "When we're talking about a one stop shop, we're talking about you get your paint, your appliances, you get your lumber, you get your garden centre, your plumbing, your tools, your hardware. It's a multiple one stop shop."
The company says the local investment is in excess of $21.6 million.
The store has created 75 new permanent jobs and 80 seasonal positions.
