A Windsor man is reviving a local youth philanthropy group.
'100 Kids Who Care' is an organization that involves children meeting four times a year to raise money for children's charities.
The group was disbanded after the former meeting place HiJinx Indoor Playcare and Imaginaruim closed down.
Co-Chair Mark Dupuis is working to bring it back. "I'm trying to spread the word as much as I can because I think if people knew about this group they would want their kids to get involved. I think it is a valuable lesson, we are hoping to get 100 kids we will certainly accept more, the more people who get involved the bigger the cheque we give to local charities."
"The group helps teaches children the importance of caring for others" says Dupuis. "Let the kids know that sometimes we can give out of our pockets, we can give our time, we can give many ways to help others and if we can create a society where we can think about others before we think about ourselves then it is mission accomplished for us."
The group will meet at the Windsor YMCA at Central Park Athletics on January 21st.
