Program Co-ordinator Robin Gibbs says they used to operate out of Mill Street Public School.
She says the new location opened late last month.
"We were previously at Mill Street Public School now when they closed, we were in search of a new location and the catholic school board graciously welcomed us into Cardinal Carter." explained Gibbs "So we have a nice space here. We got a classroom, desks, lots of space for lots of kids. I think our max for the program is 45."
She says the program includes JK to grade 8 students, there are no requirements and it's free for anyone.
The kids will do a minimum of a half an hour of physical activity everyday and there's a healthy snack provided daily.
The after school program is is open 3pm until 6pm, Monday to Friday.
