The Spitfires newest player is ready to go.
Overage defenceman Sean Allen arrived at the WFCU Centre Tuesday after being acquired from the Oshawa Generals.
"I'm a defensive defenceman, good strong first pace and I'll protect my teammates when needed and I'm just a hard worker and I'm dedicated to the games," says Allen, who is excited to be in Windsor.
"I talked to McCool who was here Memorial Cup year and he said he loved it down here and it's such a great city — I'm here now and I was hanging out with a couple of the boys, just going around the city and it's unbelievable."

Allen also says he's looking forward to be a role model.
"The young talent I see in this room, I'm a vet guy and I'm going to take these guys under my wing and show them the year's I've had — it's going to be a great year."
Allen will be in the lineup when the Spits drop the puck on a new OHL season Thursday night at home against Guelph. AM800's coverage begins with the pre-game show at 6:30.
