Windsor's new city hall opens today at 12pm.
Over the last few days, city staff have been moving items into the new $30-million building.
According to CTV Windsor, about 2,600 bins and banker's boxes were moved over the holiday weekend while construction crews were putting on the finishing touches.
The new city hall now houses finance, city clerk, building, planning and engineering departments along with the CAO and the mayor's offices all under one roof.
Neither the old city hall or the new city will be open between 8:30am and noon to give the 280 city employees time to get acquainted with their new work stations.
The official public grand opening and tours will be held Saturday, May 26.
