The City of Windsor has hosted its last ward meeting for the year.
On Wednesday night, ward 8 residents met with city councillor Bill Marra and city staff at the St. Theresa Church Hall on Norman Road.
Marra says he was pleased with the outcome and says comments and concerns focused on neighbourhood issues.
He says neighbourhood re-construction along with basement flooding, parks and re-investment in parks all came up.
Marra says he continues to work with different neighbourhood groups.
"I'm working with the friends of Fontainebleau to try and get a community centre in the five year capital budget process. We built the library a little over 10 years ago and it was designed and built with the potential to expand it for a community centre and it looks like we're making some traction there," says Marra.
Marra says he'll work with administration on a number of the issues that were brought up.
About 100 people attended the ward 8 meeting.
