No word on the extent of injuries
Windsor police are investigating a serious assault in a neighbourhood off Howard Ave.
Police were called overnight to an area on Shepherd St. near Lillian after reports of screams and yelling.
One neighbour was walking her dog between midnight and 1 a.m. Monday and heard someone yelling, 'stop, please stop.'
She didn't want to give her name, but said it was a cry for help.
She describes the sounds coming out of the garage as 'pure evil.'
"There was a lot of commotion in the garage, something really bad was going on in there, you could tell from the voices," she says.
She said there were three to four bangs, like something hitting the garage door, and then silence.
She then witnessed someone come outside and hit a vehicle with a hockey stick, shattering the windows.
Police are holding the scene pending a warrant as police tape surrounds the area.

The neighbour said she saw one person taken away in handcuffs.
A couple at the scene Monday morning said their 42-year-old son had been badly beaten.
No word on the extent injuries.
Police are not releasing any further details.
