Chatham-Kent police are reminding parents to look over Halloween candy before kids take a bite after a needle was found in a Snickers bar.
Police say a parent in Chatham found the needle lodged in the chocolate bar.
Chatham-Kent police are urging parents to be cautious before allowing their children to eat any candy picked up on Halloween night and to carefully check over the treats.
Anyone spotting suspect candy or wondering how to properly dispose of needles or other hazards is asked to contact the Chatham-Kent Police Service at 519-436-6600 x222.
