A Windsor resident has been charged following a near $13,000 tobacco bust at the border.

Officers with the Canada Border Services Agency seized 188 kilograms of undeclared tobacco products from a commercial driver at the Ambassador Bridge.

The incident was reported by the CBSA on August 21st.

Charges include: making a deceptive statement and attempting to evade duties and taxes.
