The NDP in Essex, Chatham-Kent and Lambton-Kent-Middlesex are backing the calls for a health hazard investigation at Samsung's North Kent One wind turbine site.
Residents have raised concerns that it is disturbing well water.
Families in the region, along with the local advocacy group Water Wells First, called for the investigation after independent lab results found the amount of Kettle Point black shale particles had increased 14,000-fold since construction began.
Black shale is known to contain heavy metals.
Essex MPP Taras Natyshak has written a letter to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change and the Minister of Health.
Chatham-Kent Leamington NDP candidate Jordan McGrail says some people in the region are seeing black well water. She says some people are using a temporary water source like large holding tanks outside of their home which freezes during cold snaps.
