Comic book fans were treated to a free copy of Captain Canuck by The Art Gallery of Windsor and Rouges Comics for National Comic Book Day.
The annual event shines a spotlight on the art of making comics.
Local artist George Rizok set up shop in the gallery to take requests from anyone who walked by on Saturday. His comic-based artwork is currently gracing the walls of the Chimczuk Museum on the gallery's main floor.

Admission was free all day Saturday and Rizok says he volunteered his time to give back to the gallery.
"They [the gallery] were kind enough to put up my work and I was so happy that I volunteered to come down on free comic book day and do some drawings for any kids who had the patience to stand there for 10 minutes," says Rizok.
He tells AM800 News it's a busy day, but it's fun drawing for the kids.
"We have had a bunch of Spidermans, I'm doing my first Harley Quinn, a couple of Wonder Woman's and my favourite request so far today was Queen Amidala from Star Wars, which is a rare one," says Rizok.

Comic Book Day and having his art on display are a way of showing kids how much work is put into creating the TV shows, and movies they love, accordoing to Rizok.
"The hype around all the toys and everything else and even the great cartoons. All these things are beautiful stories but it's nice to remind everybody that it comes from hand drawn pictures and stories that took a lot of time to labour over," says Rizok. "It takes teams of people to bring this stuff together."
Rogues Comics lined up Saturday and Rizok says the art gallery saw quite a few young faces throughout the day as well.
