A Tweet from Canada's Defence Minister at the Vancouver set of the new Deadpool movie, led to a meme from Brian Masse.
The Windsor West MP is a professed Deadpool fan, and tweeted back that Harjit Sajjan should do something about the state of the HMCS Hunter building on Ouellette Avenue.
Masse hopes the playful poke has an impact
"I'm hopeful that we'll see something because the fact is that if we want to have an action hero and action minister we certainly can actually move beyond fantasy-land and get something done here" said Masse, "The Hunter building had real life heroes go in and out of that facility for years"
He says he heard from the minister's staff that some brick work was being done, but he hasn't seen it:
Masse says the only thing happening at the site currently is basic maintenance like cleaning up needles and mowing the grass.
He says the plan for the building has not been released and it's not currently on the market to be sold.
