Cineplex and Uber Eats have announced they are expanding their partnership.
"Does it get any butter than this," says Cineplex Director of Communications Sarah Van Lange.
Van Lange says starting today movie theatre popcorn along with other concession items such as hot dogs, nachos and candy will be available through delivery.
She says there are 60 Cineplex theatres throughout the country taking part in the pilot program including the Cineplex location at Devonshire Mall.
Van Lange says Cineplex is known for its popcorn.
"It is delicious and we are certainly famous for it," says Van Lange. "So we've have had one or two customers coming in over the years coming to our concession stand to bring it home. So this is just giving our customers what they want and what they're asking for and this partnership with Uber Eats made perfect sense."
Those interested must have the Uber Eats app.
