Amherstburg is about to get car crazy.
The 12th annual "Amherstburg's Gone Car Crazy" car show takes place Sunday in downtown Amherstburg.
Event Co-ordinator Eleanor Renaud says the one day event features a wide range of vehicles including hot rods, antiques and classics.
She says the event continues to grow.
"The show has been growing in leaps and bounds every year and our best show ever was just over 600. So we're shooting for 700 this year and that will be just amazing."
Renaud says the event attracts many out of town visitors.
"We've got cars coming from all over. We've got some pre-registrations from Michigan. We've got registrations from Kitchener, London. We're excited. It's going to be a good show."
The event runs from 11am until 4pm.
There will be a number of road closures in the downtown core including Richmond Street and Dalhousie Street from Murray Street to Toddy Jones Park.
