Keep those umbrellas handy today.
Environment Canada Severe Weather Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says more rain is on the way for Windsor-Essex.
He says the region could see close to 60mm of rain over the next two days.
Kimbell says Windsor-Essex is currently under a Special Weather Statement.
He says it's been a wet month so far.
"About 50mm if you include Friday over the weekend and that brings our month to date total to 95mm," he says. "The normal rainfall for the month of May is about 89 or 90 so we've already had a month worth of rain and we're only half way through."
Kimbell says things will clear up later this week but there is a chance for some more rain over the weekend.
As for the temperature, the normal for the time of year is 15 degrees Celsius and the area is currently averaging 14.9 degrees.
