More rain and thunderstorms are on the way for Windsor-Essex.
Environment Canada is forecasting thunderstorms and showers heavy at times up until tomorrow afternoon, bringing with it up to 55 mm of rain over the next 24 to 36 hours.
Meteorologist Gerald Cheng says this storm system will bring plenty of rain with showers heavy at times.
"Up to 20 mm today, another 10 mm tonight and around 20 mm tomorrow and that's with the risk of thunderstorms as well."
Cheng says not only is it going to be wet, it's going to be windy too.
"It's going to be a bit breezy for today and tomorrow as well. We're looking at gusts up to 50 km\h today and tomorrow up to 60 km\h.
Along with warmer temperatures, the forecast is also calling for wind gusts anywhere from 40 to 60 km\h until Friday afternoon.
