Several members of the University of Windsor Athletics Club are coming home with medals from the Canadian Track and Field Championship in Ottawa.
Noelle Montcalm won gold in the women’s 400 meter hurdles with a time of 56.69 seconds.
Montcalm's win now qualifies her for the North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Championship in Toronto from August 10 to 12.
Other medal winners include Corey Bellemore, who finished third in the men’s 1500 metres.
Brandon McBride won a silver medal in the senior men's 800 metres.
Mandy Brunet also won a silver medal in the women’s U20 triple jump.
The University of Windsor Athletics Club sent 18 athletes in all to the meet to compete in 22 events.
