The Ministry of Labour says it was notified of an incident at Prism Berlie on Sandwich St. near McKee Rd. on Thursday.
A worker may have had a medical episode and was rushed to hospital, according to the ministry.
No further information has been released.
According to the city's website, Prism Berlie turns bio-solids into dried pellets to be used as fertilizer.
The investigation is ongoing.
