A worker fell off a piece of machinery and into the water Wednesday afternoon in Amherstburg
An industrial accident in Amherstburg is being investigated by the Ministry of Labour.
A construction worker working on a bridge on Front Road North fell off an excavator into the water.
It happened Wednesday around 2pm between Malden and North Side Rd. The roadway was closed for less than an hour.
Police say the construction worker was taken to hospital, but was not seriously hurt.
