The province of Ontario is keeping its ears open to see if it can assist in attracting new auto investment.
Investment has been a key point in the current auto talks with the Detroit 3.
Minister of Economic Development, MPP Brad Duguid, says it's too soon to tell what kind of participation the government will have.
Duguid describes this time as "a renaissance" adding the restabalization of our auto sector could lead to a very good five or ten year run in Ontario.
He says says the government will invest if the request is fair and there is a good rate of return for tax payers.
Duguid says the province and the federal government has been in very close contact with Unifor when it comes to investment and the current negotiations.
