Ford has stopped making the trucks at two plants meaning they don't need the V8 made at the Essex engine plant. Shifts were cancelled last Thursday and Friday, but production resumed today.
Unifor Local 200 President John D'Agnolo says workers will be off again on Tuesday for three shifts. The Wednesday midnight shift is cancelled and the day and afternoon shifts Thursday are off.
Ford has indicated it wants to resume production of the F-150 at the Dearborn and Kansas City plants as soon as this Friday.
