The future of Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus is a hot topic for Ward 4 residents.
Councillor Chris Holt hosted his ward meeting at the Caboto Club Thursday night.
A number of topics were brought up including speeding, high traffic and poor conditions on residential roads, but discussions on what will happen with the hospital took front and centre.
"I hear from residents of South Walkerville on a regular basis and I love it, because they are very engaged with what goes on in their community," Holt says. "I have no doubt that whatever plans come forward for the old Metropolitan site, these people will be the first in line to tell us they like, they don't like it, and I will react accordingly to what they think."

Holt says he's lucky his goals align with the goals of his residents.
"We all want more amenities close by the homes so it doesn't require us to buy a second, third or fourth car. We want safe roads for all road users. We want all this stuff. We love the local, independent businesses within walking distances. We like going to the pub around the corner."
There are two more ward meetings next week.
Councillor Irek Kusmierczyk will host a Ward 7 meeting at the Forest Glade Arena next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Councillor Rino Bortolin will host a Ward 3 meeting on Thursday at City Hall, also at 6:30 p.m.
