Vincent Massey students recently spent the day volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Windsor.
As part of their co-op program, the 50 students did everything from clean, to package and move furniture.
Massey Grade 12 student Erin says she's happy to help out any way she can.
"So far I've been cleaning because there is a lot of stuff and dust collects — I'm happy to be here."
Chelsey goes to Massey as well and says she enjoys the hands on work of volunteering.
"You're more in touch and more connected with the work and the mission that Habitat has with the community and getting involved."
Grade 12 student Austin says the experience is invaluable.
"This job kind of makes you feel like you're part of it, like you're part of the whole community."
AM800's sister station, 89X, will be broadcasting live from the ReStore from 11am-2pm on Saturday as part of the volunteer drive.
