Kylie Masse and Team Canada continue to be right in the middle of historically fast swimming today at the FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The 21-year-old from LaSalle is through to the women’s 200-metre backstroke semifinals in second. She finished with another Canadian record time of two minutes and 5.97 seconds.
Only the defending world champion, Australian Emily Seebohm, was faster.
Both times would have been good for gold at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
