Windsor West MP Brian Masse has issued a work order against the federal government.
Masse wants the government to improve the conditions at the former HMCS Hunter building on Ouellette Avenue.
"This property is now in a state of decay and disarray," says Masse.

The building has sat vacant for about two years after the Hunter moved to its new location in west-Windsor.
Masse says the building is falling apart, the property has not been kept up and he believes there is illegal activity happening at the site.
He says protective fencing has been set up at the front of the building.
"You see the fencing and hoarding that has been placed up here in a haphazard way. It's secured by a bungee cord and most importantly it is only to prevent, it appears parts of the building crumbling and falling on people."

Masse has fired off a letter to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defence.
The building first opened in the 1940's.
