The Wolverines advanced with wins over 15-seed Montana and 10-seed Florida, while the Red Raiders earned their trip to California with wins over 14-seed Northern Kentucky and six-seed Buffalo.
The winner will face either number-one seed Gonzaga or number-four seed Florida State in the Elite Eight.
Michigan State takes on LSU in the East Region tomorrow night in Washington D.C.
