The struggling Toronto Maple Leafs are juggling their lines.
Head coach Mike Babcock had slumping centre Auston Matthews, Patrick Marleau and Mitch Marner on a line together at practice Monday, and John Tavares was with Zach Hyman and Kasperi Kapanen.
Babcock says juggling lines shouldn't be a big deal.
"I suppose if you like who you got moved to you think it's a real big deal, and if you don't like who you got moved to you think it's a real big deal too. Take it or leave it. The bottom line is we haven't won enough games here lately," says Babcock.
The Maple Leafs lost to the Arizona Coyotes 4-2 at home on Sunday.
"I like the process we went through last night (Sunday). I like the work we put in, I like how much we had the puck. The bottom line is we didn't generate enough offence to win the game. So, we got a find a way to be better," says Babcock.
The Leafs have lost seven of their past 10 games and are home to the defending Stanley Cup champion Capitals on Wednesday.
