John Tavares scored at 2:33 of overtime to complete the Toronto Maple Leafs' 2-1 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights at Scotiabank Arena in NHL action Thursday night.
Tavares also assisted on Auston Matthews' goal, and Frederik Andersen made 37 saves to help the Leafs earn their third straight win.
Andersen made a huge stop on William Karlsson on the power play in overtime to keep the game tied before Tavares' game-winner.
Toronto's Mike Babcock became the eighth coach in NHL history to reach 700 victories.
