An arrest has been made following a stabbing in downtown Windsor.
Police received a weapons call around 5:15pm Tuesday on Riverside Drive W. at Caron Ave. and learned of a suspicious man in the area carrying a knife.
A male victim was found near Bruce Ave. with a stab wound and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Ten minutes later, another man told police he had been assaulted in the area of Bruce Ave. and Chatham St. W.
A suspect was arrested without incident but the weapon has not been found.
28-year old Robert Montgomery of Windsor is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous weapon, assault with a weapon and breach of probation.
